In Love

I spent another part of my holiday weekend spending time with these two lovebirds! I could have shot them all day and am SO looking forward to their wedding. We chatted like we were old friends and they were just a joy to be around. Thanks Emily and Mike!!

I spent a lovely Monday evening documenting the marriage of a very sweet couple. It was an intimate evening with only about 10 guests with an exquisite dinner afterward. The focus was on the couple and I LOVE that. When I left, the groom gave me one of the nicest compliments. He said it seemed like I had become one of their family. I love my clients so that meant a ton to me!!

What to blog first??

I had a TON of shoots this past weekend. It seems like whenever there is a holiday I don't get one! We did have tons of fun playing when I wasn't shooting. So I will dedicate this post to the fun and we'll do the shoots next! Caleb's cousin Derek was in town. OH BOY- these two are only 3 weeks apart and are loving getting to know each other better. They played outsideat Pop and Nana's the entire weekend and they also did their first run together. Well, sort of together- Derek ran the entire 1 mile while Caleb spent at least 3/4 of his in the stroller being crabby!

ahhhhh weddings

I just love shooting weddings and am going to try not to miss blogging any of them this year!!! Saturday was the picture perfect day and Lindsay chose all of her details perfectly. We had a brief run in with the cops (oops, my fault!) Sometimes when I have great photo ideas I can get myself into a bit of trouble. But they handled it wonderfully and had a great day!!

ahhhh how we love LOVE love to shoot newborns. Clara was one of the sweetest and sleepiest babies we've had in awhile. Just pefection.

So many seniors

I only shoot a handful of seniors a year. They are usually the most fun, creative, and artsy seniors (I like to think). This year they have all decided to come to me very last minute! I've done about 5 in the last 2 weeks. Here is an example of a wonderful last minute shoot!

What a wonderful day and a wonderful couple! I love love love shooting members of the same family. I've had the joy to shoot the bride, her sister's wedding, and her sister's son! Couldn't ask for better! This week we are off to Jamaica to shoot Hilary's wedding!

LUCKY

I was so lucky to be able to photograph another birth last week. Jennifer came to me knowing that this would be her last child. She wanted to remember all the little details and most importantly show her family complete. I know she will treasure these "first" images for many many years. Thanks to the "M" family for trusting me and allowing me to document such an intimate event.

Cole is 6 months

I cannot believe our Melissa's baby is already 6 months old. I have definitely come to the realization that they do grow up way to fast. Reminds me to go cuddle with mine before it is too late!
